March 10th, 1997: This evening we linked via
videoconference, during two hours and twenty minutes, from the Noesitherapy
Center to the University of La Laguna, in the Canary Islands. We participated
in the 5th CATAI'S WINTER COURSE, under the title: NEW TECHNOLOGICAL
CHALLENGES AND THE INTERNET. In the event program we were entered as:
Videoconference with theNoesitherapy Center from
Valencia. Dr. Escudero: Surgery and childbirths under psychoanesthesia. Dr.
C. Guillén: Teledermatology (IVO). Teleradiology: Dr. L.G. Marrero,
Quirón Clinic, Valencia.
In addition to the above-mentioned doctors
we invited two others from the IVO (Valencian Institute of Oncology), Drs.
Sanmartín and Escudero Jr.
AFTER THE VIDEOCONFERENCE
Hello! I'm Raquel and I'm writing from my Computing
School at the University of La Laguna, Tenerife. First, I want to thank you
for your quick answer to my e-mail and also for having clarified some things
for me. Look, Dr. Escudero, the truth is my first mail was to express my curiosity
and amazement for your work capacity which is so admirable. Although I do
not study Medicine, I study Informatic Systems, I'm close to finishing my
carrier, but I had never had felt anything so surprising as the day in which
I saw you in the Catai's videoconference. I do not know how to explain this
with words, but in truth what attracted me about your personality was the
meaning you attribute to the words LIVING and LOVE. I do not know how, but
I believe that your words reached so deeply inside me that they changed their
meaning radically. From now on I'm going to
feel LOVE for everyone around me and for all my friends, nevertheless, there is always someone inparticular who gives
you a headache. But, well, I believe life is a continuos purpose for overcoming
and not to lose hopes, I truly believe that now I have much more strength
for doing what I really want... I admire you deeply, all my respects for
your work.
