Subject: HIV/AIDS in the Hispanic Community

We must underline Dr. CIPRIANO CANOSA´S important  words. He is Advisor for materno infantile health in the WHO, Rockefeller Foundation Professor and expert in nutrition and infantile AIDS. He completed Dr. Cisneros´ regional overview with a world wide one.

Dr. Escudero said that after listening to Dr. Cisneros lecture and to Dr. Canosa´s and Dr. Roberto Jiménez´s considerations,  the AIDS treatment cannot be reduced to the Pharmacologic one, it is an educational problem with important economic implications. Dr. Escudero enlightened the attendants with the following consideration: that he has had  0% of postoperative infections operating under Psychological Anesthesia during 25 years, without using antibiotics. It is due, according to Dr. Escudero´s belief that the vagal predominance of the muscarinic type  improves the metabolism at all levels and the immune state close to the possitive psychological state. These things must be considered in the AIDS profilaxis and treatment.

Before beginning Dr. Cisneros lecture, Dr. Mariano García Cisneros requested that Dr. Escudero show them the "genu varum" ("bow leg") surgical intervention recorded by the BBC documentary "ANGEL" for the TV series "YOUR LIFE IN THEIR HANDS".
